Emotional wellbeing
Random Messages was created from a love of words, handwritten letters, and the belief that small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.
About Random Messages...
Random Messages is intentionally human, gentle, and meaningful.
In a fast-paced digital world, we exist to reintroduce kindness, human connection, and the art of handwritten communication. We believe that small, thoughtful gestures still matter - perhaps now more than ever.
Unlike traditional greeting card companies, we focus not on occasions, but on altruism, anonymity, and emotional impact. We invite people to take part in quiet acts of kindness - messages sent without expectation, recognition, or return.
This business is built not on urgency or volume, but on care, creativity, and connection. We want people to reach people again. To extend kindness freely. To create moments of warmth and encouragement that arrive unexpectedly, yet at exactly the right time.
One random message at a time, we hope to bring a little more joy into letterboxes - and lives - around the world.

How Random Messages Came To Be
A while back, I thought to myself how nice it would be to just get some support.....a nice word, a smile of encouragement, someone sending me a message in the universe that I was doing okay and that I should keep going.
But alas, it did not come.
I realised that it wouldn't even matter if it wasn't from someone I knew. A message - anything - would be appreciated and would be received really well.
And then I thought that if that's what I would like to receive, maybe other people would like that too.
So the idea of random messages was born.
Fast forward several years, and this site is now off the ground. I don't know how I got here because it has all passed in a bit of a blur, but I'm truly happy to think that people are receiving little messages of encouragement and joy to make them feel special.
It's a quiet love letter to those people who could do with a little pick-me-up.
In today's world of harsh politics, social conflict and general gender unrest, we hope that people are still kind and still value the connections that support them.
Let's lift each other up - one stupid postcard at a time. :)
The People Behind Random Messages...
We’re a slightly strange bunch... and we’re perfectly comfortable with that.
Random Messages began as just that: a random idea. But it didn’t become real because of one person. It came to life because of people, generous, creative, talented people, who helped shape it into something tangible.
When the idea first surfaced, there was so much to organise and build. It quickly became clear that this wasn’t something meant to be done alone. By reaching out to friends (people with extraordinary creative skills, practical knowledge, and quiet generosity) the business slowly began to take form.
Rather than trying to carry everything myself, I realised something better: we could build this together.
Every person involved has contributed in meaningful ways to what we now offer. Some are visible to customers, and some work quietly behind the scenes, but each one has played a part in making Random Messages what it is today.
A special acknowledgment goes to the talented artists whose artwork features on our postcards. Their creativity brings warmth and beauty to every message we send. You can find their social links on our About the Art page, and we warmly encourage you to explore and support their work.
There are also the steady hands in the background, the people who help keep the website running, assist with distribution, manage logistics, and navigate the necessary paperwork. Their support makes it possible for kindness to keep flowing out into the world.
To all of them, I am deeply grateful. Every single day.
